Just under one week remains for residents of Midland, Isabella, Gladwin, and Bay counties who suffered property damage in the June floods to register for  assistance.

FEMA officials said disaster assistance can include money for rentals assistance, home repairs, personal property loss, and other disaster related needs not covered by insurance.

FEMA recovery centers located in Midland, and Mount Pleasant are open Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm. They will close permanently on Saturday at 2pm.
