Beal City is celebrating its 150th anniversary this weekend. It's a small town in central Michigan and has a German heritage that the community is proud to incorporate into its celebration.

A travelling copy of the National Vietnam Veterans Memorial stopped in Caro over the weekend. Veterans said they came to the memorial to visit their old friends.
