Anyone 18 and older can now get a free single dose Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccination at Ford Field.

The federal mass vaccination site in Detroit is in its last two weeks of operation.

The Ford Field site is also offering a free second dose of the Pfizer vaccine to anyone 16 and older regardless of where they got their first dose.

Doctor Steven Rockoff is the medical director for the Ford Field site.

"We want to make sure that we protect as many people as possible. Do it for yourself. Do it for your family and your loved ones. And do it for your community as a whole. And if we all protect ourselves, we'll stop the virus from spreading and then we can end the pandemic."

Ford Field is accepting walk ins and appointments for both vaccines every day through Monday, May 17th.
