Majority of public universities plan on in person instruction this fall

While summer events were being canceled due to COVID-19, public universities plan on the fall semester being more or less, business as usual.

A majority of public universities have announced plans to bring students and faculty back to campus in the fall. University leaders are monitoring the virus as plans develop.

“Our default plan is to meet face to face and I think everyone understands these things could change,” Jason Taylor, professor at Central Michigan University said.

Taylor said in terms of planning, it would be more difficult to plan for online-only, and then find students can return.
