Renovations are underway at Mid Michigan College’s Harrison campus.
The twelve million dollar renovations are expected to improve student spaces and upgrade outdated buildings.
Scott Merts is with the college. He said the renovations will beautify and upgrade the campus facilities.
“We definitely have to update this relatively quickly and as part of that while we’re updating the infrastructure we play to significantly boost student-friendly spaces.”
Merts said enrollment has continued to decline at the college.
“This is an opportunity to upgrade our space. It’s not necessarily to add on to accommodate additional growth.”
The renovation is expected to be complete sometime in 2020.
