Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) has opened a new location in Petoskey for several agency programs. The building underwent major renovations that were completed in February 2025.
The new campus is 14,000+ square feet and will house Children’s Learning Center (CLC) childcare and preschool programs, Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) services, comprehensive domestic abuse and sexual assault services, licensed therapy, community outreach and collaboration, and agency administration.
WRCNM services are designed to strengthen the community by providing specialized advocacy, support, access to resources, and education. WRCNM serves Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Otsego, and Cheboygan counties, and works with dozens of community partners across the five-county service area.
A celebration event will be open to the public on Tuesday, June 3rd from 3:30-6:30pm at 2225 Summit Park Drive in Petoskey. The ribbon-cutting presentation will be at 3:45 followed by brief remarks from WRCNM Executive Director Gail Kloss and Board President Erika Van Dam. Building tours, activities, and light refreshments will be provided.
Leadership gifts by WRCNM, an anonymous donor, and the Kroeger-Mainland Family Fund propelled this project forward and dozens of additional donors, community groups, and foundations have provided critical support with gifts of various levels.
