The Detroit Retro Society is a high energy 6-piece band featuring great singers with a big sound! They will present a retrospective of some of the greatest hits of the last 75 years. This is their 4th year in a row performing on the St Johns Concert in the Park series. The band became an instant hit the first time they performed. This has been one of our audience’s favorite groups as they come back to hear them perform each summer.

The DRS’s set list for this concert includes 32 different covers, built into two 45-minute sets – it’s pretty much song after song with no down time. Very little dialogue in this musical extravaganza of big all-time classic greats from early Motown on! The lead singer, “Super Gabe” as he is called, will have you totally engaged the whole evening! He is really “Super” as is the whole band backing him up. The Detroit Retro Society includes on this concert:
