The 126th Army Band has a history dating back to the Spanish-American War. Through the years, following several reorganizations, the current band, known as the "Governor's Own since 2013, continues its proud tradition of musical excellence, entertaining communities, while serving its ceremonial duties, across Michigan and beyond for over six decades. Under the direction of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Kimberly Ferrante, the band will perform a program of traditional concert music as well as a set of patriotic numbers that will leave you wanting more.
