Locally-grown plants at reasonable prices will fill the T-barn at the Emmet County Fairgrounds in Petoskey for the annual Spring Plant Sale, hosted by the Northern Michigan Master Gardener Association. The event begins at 9 a.m. sharp. Free packets of native plant seeds will be available, and a Garden Marketplace will offer a variety of garden supplies and tools. Several informational tables will be set up: Smart Gardening; MSU-Extension, Wild Ones, Central Elementary School Garden, Pickerel-Crooked Lake Association.
