The Midland Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host its fall used book sale starting Friday, September 29th at the Midland Mall. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 1st. Book lovers will find hardcover and paperback books sorted into several categories including mystery/suspense, romance, general fiction, history, cookbooks, and children’s books. Most books are priced from $1 to $2. Recent publications, cookbooks, and collectables are individually priced. All day Sunday is “Bag Day” when book lovers can get a bag of books for $10.

Proceeds fund scholarships at the local and national levels. The AAUW Midland Branch awards college scholarships to Midland area high school graduates and women who wish to return to college for
further education and/or skilled trade apprentice programs. Funds from the sale will also send local young women to the National Conference of College Women Students Leaders.
