Collection sheds light on Sault Ste. Marie history

In today's edition of 'Let's Go Back - Stories from the Clarke Historical Library,' we delve into the Bingham Collection. It's an amazing archive documenting the life of one of Sault Ste. Marie's early families.

In the video below, you'll learn more about the Bingham family and the role they played in Sault Ste. Marie. We'll also hear a touching letter from one of the Bingham daughters, describing the cold winter months in northern Michigan.

This piece was produced by WCMU's Matthew Ozanich, in collaboration with Central Michigan University's Clarke Historical Library. And we want to thank WCMU's Sara Byks for lending her voice to this story.
