U.S. Congressman Jack Bergman will fight the certification of November’s electoral college results this week. He joins several other Republicans that are fighting Joe Biden’s win.
Jack Bergman and another republican lawmaker released a statement Monday.
They demand congress launch a full investigation into unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.
Specifically they claim results in several states Biden won, including Michigan, were tainted.
Many election experts say the plan is unlikely to work.
A few congressional democrats tried to stop Donald Trump’s electoral college victory in 2016 to no avail.
Bergman’s office has not responded to requests for comment.
