Attorney General Dana Nessel is pulling out of eight federal cases.

Nessel says the cases undermine the state’s values. The cases deal with reproductive rights, discrimination based on sexual orientation, and the separation of church and state.

The cases were entered into by former, Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette.
