Saxophonist Joe Lovano debuted his Tapestry Trio in 2019. The group, including Marilyn Crispell on piano and Carmen Castaldi on drums has a new CD on ECM records, “Garden of Expression.” Lovano spoke with David Nicholas, host of The Beat, about the new recording and his career in music.
