Early jazz ensemble to play and record at CMU

River Raisin Ragtime Review

Fans of early jazz have a concert to plan for and a CD to look forward to as the River Raisin Ragtime Review comes to Central Michigan University.  Their concert will be in the Staples Family Concert Hall on Thursday, September 19 @ 7:30.  The next day, the group will spend the day in the hall recording their next CD.  Bob Lindahl, Professor of Trombone from Central Michigan University’s School of Music and a member of the River Raisin ensemble, joined David Nicholas in studio during Mosaic for a preview.

The concert from the River Raisin Ragtime Review is Thursday, September 19 at 7:30 in the Staples Family Concert Hall on the Central Michigan University campus.  Concert information is at www.music.cmich.edu
