Destination Out features Japanese percussionist Stomu YaMashta. Some recordings that he made early in his career from around 1970. Featuring some improvised works as well as compositions by Toru Takemitsu and Mashiko Satoh. We also played a few things from bassist Dave Holland and during the last hour some music from Don Cherry.

Mike Johnston is the host of 'Destination Out,' which airs each Sunday evening at 11pm. Mike also teaches music history courses at Delta College and Mid Michigan Community College.
