In Lansing, Sparrow Health System is closing its drive-through COVID-19 vaccination lanes and opening a mass vaccination clinic inside of the former Sears store.
Elizabeth Reust is the manager of the vaccination clinic. She says they’ll be able to vaccinate up to 3,000 people per day.
“We could only do about 1100 shots a day in the drive-through. And so by coming inside, we can do almost three times that many.”
COVID-19 testing will still be available at the drive-through site in the Frandor Shopping Center.
