President Donald Trump plans several campaign stops in Michigan on Monday while Trump told a crowd of thousands in Macomb County Sunday, that a Biden presidency would create economic carnage in the state.

Blustery winds buffeted the president on the open air stage in Washington Township, part of a Macomb County that was crucial in delivering Michigan to Trump in 2016.

But the president said, without evidence, that the cold weather was nothing compared to the dark winter he says a Biden presidency would bring.

“Under Biden’s lock down you will be living in a prison state. That’s what it is. They want to lock it down. Let’s lock down our country for a couple years and let it go away.”

Trump again claimed a vaccine for Covid-19 is only weeks away.

He holds two more rallies Monday in Michigan, ending in Grand Rapids, the site of his final campaign stop four years ago.
