Mount Pleasant Police continue to investigate a fatal shooting near Central Michigan University.
On Monday night, police were called to “The Edge” apartments, west of C-M-U’s main campus. Officials said a 21-year old CMU student from Kent county had been shot and killed.
Police said through witness statements and investigative leads, a suspect was identified and is currently lodged in the Isabella County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
