Michigan Coronavirus cases reach 5,486

Matthew Ozanich

Michigan reported 836 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, and 21 additional deaths.

That brings the total number of Coronavirus cases up to 5,486. Since March 10 when the first cases were reported, 132 Michiganders have died from the disease.

The governor's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" exeuctive order remains in effect until April 13, in a effort to slow the spread of the virus. Health experts say everyone should stay home if at all possible, wash their hands frequently, and avoid touching their face to stop the spread of the illness.
