Central Michigan University announced Wednesday it’s suspending all face-to-face instruction and switching to online due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Right now, CMU students are on spring break. In the announcement, the university said students should not return to campus when break ends. It says residence halls will remain closed for all but international students and student athletes until March 22nd.

In addition, the university has cancelled all CMU-sponsored events of more than 50 people through the end of the month.

The university said it will revisit next week when face-to-face classes may resume.
