The City of Detroit’s annual fireworks display takes place this Monday. Officials say the show will be visible from all along the riverfront. Parade Company President and C-E-O … Tony Michaels says this year’s fireworks will see more individual shells being launched than ever before.

“So this will be a very big show… a lot of bigger shells. And also I will tell you the opening and closing will be goose-bump moments. They really are.”

Michaels says the first fireworks are set to go off at 9:55 p-m. so long as weather cooperates. He says there is a chance of a pop-up storm.
