If you left Michigan to get a COVID-19 vaccine, State of Michigan health department wants you to tell your primary care provider.

Michigan's plans to relax covid-19 restrictions are tied to the percentage of residents who are at least partially vaccinated.

Lynn Sutfin is with the state health department. She says the state doesn’t know how many people went to other states to get the vaccine, when supply was harder to come by.

"I know that we are working with the CDC about getting some of this data, as well as we have an agreement with Wisconsin to have them transfer this information to us, and we are working on an agreement with Ohio as well."

Sutfin says if you don’t have a primary care provider, you should notify your local health department that you’ve been vaccinated.
