Michigan’s seeing a small, but hopeful, drop in daily new COVID-19 cases and there’s optimism that hospitalizations may have peaked, too. But many, like Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, are still overflowing. However, workers say this third surge feels both new and horribly familiar.
