Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced additional plans to reopen the economy. Construction, real estate and other jobs that primarily take place outdoors will resume May 7th.
Whitmer says she understands the frustration of Michiganders, but was disturbed by Thursday’s protest at the Capitol.
“Swastikas, Confederate flags, nooses and automatic rifles do not represent who we are as Michiganders”
The stay-at-home order will continue through at least May 15th.
