The Governor should let more Michigan businesses get back to work, according to State House Majority Leader Triston Cole.

He said small construction and landscaping crews aren’t sure if they can keep working under the ‘stay at home’ order. And they want more clarification from the state.

“Can we have members of the same household that are a work crew out doing something where there is no further interaction?”

Non-essential businesses have been closed for over a week under Governor Whitmer’s executive order. The state has updated it several times since then.

Cole said the legislature will address the specifics of that order when it gets back in session.
