Michigan’s jobless rate is hanging below 4%.
Michigan’s November unemployment rate remained unchanged from the previous month at 3.9%. The nation’s jobless rate was also flat last month.
The state’s unemployment rate is down nearly a full percentage point from a year ago.
Outgoing governor Rick Snyder praised the numbers, and noted that when he was elected eight years ago, Michigan’s jobless rate was more than 11%.
