Thanksgiving is coming up, which means stores are preparing the craziness of Black Friday.

Box businesses are known to have these sales, don’t forget to check on local businesses and boutiques for price drops.

Ollivia Macha is the owner of La Fleur Boutique. She said there are challenges in preparations for Black Friday.

“It doesn’t take many people for it to suddenly feel as though you are shoulder to shoulder with others,” she said. “At the same time, we also want to have a large section of clothing displayed. So somewhere, you have to sacrifice either display room or standing room.”

Macha said, to offset this problem, the store will be open an hour earlier this year, to give customers an extra hour to shop and she said it will hopefully spread out foot traffic.

La Fleur will be opening at 6 am for Black Friday.
