Testing wastewater can rapidly detect COVID-19 outbreaks on college campuses nursing homes and prisons.

Now the state has a 10-million dollar grant to develop a program testing local wastewater across Michigan.

Kent County schools to receives CARES Act funding

The Kent County Board of Commissioners is releasing federal CARES Act dollars to Kent County schools for the purchase of safety supplies related to the coronavirus.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has been leading the state’s coronavirus response efforts for five months now. At a press conference today (Wednesday), she asked residents not to sign a petition that would strip the Governor’s office of its emergency powers.
