This week on "The Juke Joint" broadcast Robert Barclay featured classic blues recordings that will be inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis next month. That includes singer Bertha "Chippie" Hill singing "Trouble in Mind" with Louis Armstrong on cornet, Willie Brown singing "Future Blues," and tunes by BB King, Ruth Brown, Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup and Howlin' Wolf's Chess Box.

This week on "The Beat", David Nicholas at 30 (I wish) but it has been 30 years with WCMU. We'll dig some favorites from Chris Connor, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Lee Morgan, Grant Green and Oscar Peterson from the first LP played from David's first Nightside gig in 1990!!
