It’s the first Friday of the month, time for “Central Stage.” Today, Judy Wagley welcomes MaryBeth Minnis, professor of bassoon at the Central Michigan University School of Music. On the program, Professor Minnis performs a variety of music including a traditional work by Gabriel Pierne, “Full Moon in the City” by Libby Larsen with the CMU orchestra, an evocative duet with Lindabeth Binkley, professor of oboe at CMU, and “Black Lion” by George Fetner an innovative work for amplified bassoon. WCMU listeners are in for a treat!

Judy joined WCMU's staff in December 2018. As producer and host of “Afternoon Classical Music,” she wants to share her life-long love of classical music with listeners, and have some fun along the way! She is also the producer of “Central Stage.”
