Every day on 'Mosaic,' David Nicholas presents a wide range of music, as well as conversations about the arts and culture from across central and northern Michigan. 

Violinist Rachel Barton Pine has recorded everything from Elgar to Ellington and Bach to Baker.  Her latest CD, Blues Dialogues, features music by black composers.  Mosaic host David Nicholas had the chance to talk with the VERY busy violinist

The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra concludes their 2018-2019 season Saturday, June 1, 8 pm at Saginaw’s Temple Theater.  Music Director and Conductor Fouad Fakhouri joined David Nicholas in studio during Mosaic for a preview

The annual Matrix Midland Festival will be presented June 3-16.  Bryan Jao and Dexter Brigham from Midland Center for the Arts joined David Nicholas in studio to offer a preview.

The current exhibit at the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum in Saginaw is “American Visionary: John F. Kennedy’s Life and Times.”  Museum Director Megan McAdow joined David Nicholas in studio to talk about the exhibit.

Central Michigan University’s Wind Ensemble givers their final concert of the year and will feature two premiered works honoring long time Director of Bands John Williamson.  The concert will also mark the final time on the podium for John Campbell who has served as Interim Director of Bands this year.  Campbell spent time with David Nicholas on Mosaic previewing the concert and looking back on his own long career in music.
