Water levels in Lake Michigan and Lake Erie still above average

After a dry March, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron are still two feet above average over the last hundred years.

Water levels are projected to remain high this summer, but not reach the record heights set last year.

That’s according to a recent report from the Army Corp of Engineers.

The agency cautions there’s still a heightened risk of shoreline erosion and flooding.
