A Gladwin summer camp that closed last week due to a coronavirus outbreak is now reporting 42 positive cases among campers and staff.

The Springs Ministries closed after confirming just two COVID cases, but that number quickly ballooned to 28 positive cases earlier this week as tests came back.

Now, the Central Michigan health department is reporting 13 “probable” COVID cases in addition to the 42 positive cases at the camp.

According to officials about one-fourth of those positive cases are among campers.
