President Joe Biden toured Ford’s Rouge plant in Dearborn on Tuesday, while several thousand people protested his stance on the violence between Israel and Hamas.
Biden has expressed his support for a ceasefire and stated that Israel has a right to defend itself. Many protesters in Dearborn on Tuesday called on the President to affirm the human rights of Palestinians.
Zeena Garada is a college student with family in Palestine.
"You completely failed us as Arab-Americans, and even as Americans, because this is not what any of us should be standing for. You’ve failed us as a president."
Garada was among many who criticized U.S. military assistance to Israel.
