Lansing Mayor Andy Schor has decided to slow down the process of redeveloping City Hall.
“This is a fifty year decision.”
Mayor Schor told reporters that before moving forward, the city needs to know more about the future location of district courts and police lock-up.
Schor continued to express optimism that there will be a move, saying that developer Beitler Real Estate Services has not bowed out of plans to convert the building into a hotel. He declined to put a new timetable on the project.
