President Joe Biden touted his administration’s economic plan and support for electric vehicle production during a visit to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit today.
Republicans, including Upper Peninsula Congressman Jack Bergman, slammed the President’s handling of the economy.
“President Biden has turned a recovery into a recession.” said Bergman.
Economists disagree on whether the US is headed into a recession.
Biden announced his administration is approving the first set of electric vehicles charging plans for 35 states, including Michigan.
