With more than 4-thousand adults in Michigan hospitalized with COVID-19, hospitals are struggling to keep up.
Sparrow in Lansing is enacting an emergency preparedness plan to deal with the surge in cases.
“That's in an effort to create space for us to use more space in the hospital has critical care as our numbers continue to go up.” said the hospital's president, Alan Vierling.
As of [today] Sparrow Hospital is at 100% capacity.
