Unless you’re registering in person, Monday is the last day to register to vote by mail or online for Michigan’s November 2nd election, but after, it must be done in person.

Online or mailed applications must be received or postmarked at least 15 days before the election. But if you miss that deadline, you may still register in person at your local clerk’s office until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

And if you have an absentee ballot, it needs to be turned in by mail, at a drop box or your clerk’s office by that same deadline.

Visit the Michigan Secretary of State’s website to register or to confirm your voter status.
