Tuesday, Michigan marks one year of legal retail sales of recreational marijuana.

Robin Schneider is the executive director of the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association.

She says the industry is still expanding.

“I would say we’re not even close to market saturation yet.”

Andrew Brisbo is the director of the Marijuana Regulatory Agency and he wants to see more progress in social equity and opportunity programs in the coming years.
Since sales began last December, roughly $450 million worth of recreational pot products have been sold in the state.
