WCMU Morning News Roundup - April 30, 2020

On the Thursday WCMU Morning News Roundup, you'll hear about Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's new proposal to help workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic pay for education expenses. And we check in with Traverse City officials to see how the city in northwest Michigan is faring during the Coronavirus crisis.

We'll also hear how event centers are preparing to reopen, while keeping patrons safe. And we talk to a summer camp director about what might be in store for campers this summer.

Plus, there was court action this week tied to Nestle's water bottling operation in west Michigan. Ben Thorp brings us the latest.

Mike Horace is WCMU's Radio Program and Operations Manager.
