Investigators are continuing their search for the remains of several young girls at a site in Macomb County.

The Warren Police Department, Macomb County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are digging on a plot of land in Macomb Township – near 23 Mile and North Road.

Kimberly King disappeared in September 1979.  She was just 12 years old.

Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer spoke to reporters at the scene this afternoon.

Dwyer says he expects the search to last for at least a few more days.He says authorities have a suspect in the case, who is already in prison.
