A southeast Michigan business woman has announced she will run for the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate next year.
Lena Epstein made the announcement Monday. The 35-year-old co-owns Vesco Oil Corporation, which distributes automotive and industrial lubricants. She also served as co-chair of President Donald Trump’s campaign in Michigan last year.
If she wins the GOP nomination, she will challenge longtime Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow in the general election.
