This week on "The Juke Joint" broadcast Robert Barclay featured the man who laid down the "Bo Diddley beat," drummer Clifon James. Along with Bo Diddley's recordings, Robert also played Clifton James' percussion work on the recordings of Howlin' Wolf, Lightnin' Hopkins, Muddy Waters, Koko Taylor and Johnny Shines. He also played some tunes in memory of the late slide guitarist Cedell Davis.
