This week on the "Juke Joint" broadcast, the Duke of Juke, Robert Barclay, previewed music from the upcoming St. Louis Michigan Blues Festival, which takes place August 17th and 18th in St. Louis, and interviewed festival organizer Minard Shattuck, his daughter, singer Natalie Shattuck, who will be opening the festival with Mill Street Blues, and the emcee for the festival, Denny Adams.
We also said goodbye to behind-the-scenes worker and friend of the show Donovan Boxey, who has been working with the Duke for several years during the broadcast, and who is moving on to student-teach this upcoming fall.
