Hunters in Gratiot County found a body inside a plastic bag early Sunday morning.
The large garbage bag was found in a ditch on Warner road near Olive road in the northwest corner of Gratiot County.
An autopsy revealed the body is that of an adult man between 60 and 70 years old with several tattoos on his shoulders.
The man appeared to have an injury to his left hand, with some of his fingers taped together.
The cause of death is unknown. Police are still investigating.
