Bay County has been added to the state disaster list, following last week’s floods.
Governor Rick Snyder made the decision Wednesday. Bay County now joins Isabella and Midland counties in having disasters declared following last week’s heavy rains.
The majority of the damage happened in the northern part of Bay County. Officials say more than 30 roads in the county were impacted.
Those affected by the flooding are being asked to report any damage to the county. Bay County has a website where residents and businesses can file damage reports.
